Taylor's Eighth Birthday and Cake

It was Taylor's birthday so she got to plan the whole day and what a day it was. It started before church with opening the traditional eighth birthday gift, her very own set of scriptures (triple combination) inscribed with her name.

Then after church we opened the rest of her presents. The next activity she planned was to play at the park, followed by swimming. the apartment complex had sundae social. so we went there next and ate ice cream with our apartment complex. we talked to some nice people and met some girls Taylor's age that she could play with. Turns out they were looking for friends as well.

The day was not the only thing that Taylor planned down to the "t". She also requested a very specific cake. the birthday cake she asked for was a triple layer cake. The layers had to as follows:

Layer 1: Yellow cake with chocolate frosting
Layer 2: Chocolate cake with strawberry frosting
Layer 3: Strawberry cake with vanilla frosting
Finishing Touches: Purple icing flowers surrounded each layer with an actual flower on the top and a figurine of a puppy.

Only for our daughters. It was a great birthday day!
